Amateur Qualifying

 

Sierra Vista Open Pro-Am: Friday, October 1 - 10:00AM Shotgun Start

30 Professionals teamed with 90 amateur players from the Sierra Vista area.

Cost: $100 per amateur player-no fee for professionals
Team Option: $300 for 3 person team.  Pick your own team or sign up as an individual and the committee will assign you to a team.

Format:  3 man Scramble score combined with pro individual score

Professional Purse:  Professional golfers posting the best gross score for the day are playing for day money, based on total entries
 

Awards and Food: Following completion of the pro-am, the Huachucans will host all players and volunteers for refreshments.

Format:  Best Ball with net and gross scoring

Amateur golfers have participated in the Tournament since its inception, and it is the desire of the Tournament Committee to continue to admit the region’s Amateur golfers. Amateur golfers do not need to qualify for the 2010 Sierra Vista Open. Amateur golfers will participate alongside the pros in a best ball format, with 3 amateurs and one professional per team. All amateurs participating in the 2010 Sierra Vista Open must have an approved USGA handicap.  Amateurs will receive 80% of course handicap.
