Thursday Pro-Am Tee Pairings

The 2009 Sierra Vista Open will feature one pro-am golf tournament with 40 professional golfers and 120 amateur players.

Sierra Vista Open Pro-Am: Thursday, September 17 - 1200 Shotgun Start

40 Professionals teamed with 120 amateur players from the Sierra Vista area.

Cost: $150 per amateur player-no fee for professionals
Team Option: $500 for 3 person team and hole sponsor sign

Format:  3 man Scramble

Professional Purse:  Professional golfers posting the best gross score for the day are playing for the following purse (based on a full field):

4th $300   9th $125
5th $250   10th $100
Total       $3,000

Awards and Food: Following completion of the pro-am, the Huachucans will host all players and volunteers for refreshments.

Amateur Qualifying


Amateur golfers have participated in the Tournament since its inception, and it is the desire of the Tournament Committee to continue to admit the region’s best Amateur golfers. Amateur golfers may qualify for the tournament through their participation at their local clubs/school teams or through sponsor exemptions. Amateur golfers will participate alongside the pros but will not be subject to the cut. Amateur players will be matched together on Sunday according to their previous two-day scores.

Entry Fee: $250
